They Look Like They'd Be Awesome for The Right Installation!

Will Update when Installed: I purchased these right at the end of the season, and was unable to get them installed before the water got too cold to do it.They had all the items necessary to install for different conditions. We have a vinyl liner inground pool and use a robot vaccuum, which may pose a problem. If I install them in our pool, the robot may damage the lights and/or our pool surface so I am currently considering other installation options. This was MY mistake upon ordering and no fault of the manufacturer or seller.I will update this review with photos and an honest description of my experience of use once I find a creative way to operate them. They look like they would be pretty awesome for an above ground pool.

Best pool lights

Work great for my above ground pool. I have a weird extremely wide top around my pool. I couldn't use the zip ties, but I did use the adhesives that came with it. Cleaned the area with alcohol and then held it in place for a few minutes. Love that they light up above and under the water. They charge all day and then come on from dusk all the way until dawn. They worked so well that I bought a second set and I haven't even downloaded the app to play with all the features. 10/10 definitely recommend.

Easy Installation and very bright

These smart solar pool lights are very nice and very bright in the water. Very easy to install and set up. I have an 18 foot above ground pool and I got this pack of 2 which I didn't think it would be enough and I was really surprised how well they lit up the pool. They are really bright and they look really good in my pool. Took about 10 minutes to install both. I zip tied mine to the railing that I have. Everything you need came with it. The quality is really good and should last a while. They are made out of durable hard plastic. The only reason I gave it a 4 stars was because they will not fully latch onto the included bracket 100%. After you zip tied them down it will not latch. (See pic). But they are snugged and not going anywhere. I highly recommend these solar lights for your pool.

good quality but improvise if you have an above ground pool

they seem to be very good, quality lights. they were much heavier and more durable than i expected. they came on and lit up even having only been outside for an hour or so. they did change colors just as advertised. i did have trouble attaching them to my pool though. i have an above ground pool and they only included screws to mount them with. i had to improvise and use zip ties to mount them to my pool. other than that, they work beautifully and will last a long time. i would definitely purchase again.

Very bright for their size.

These are nice little lights. They are bright for their size. The light that drops down has to be secured because it will float. Pictures show suction cups but they were not included I‘ll have to get some and figure that out. The photos show the lights but I’m holding them they are not mounted yet and show different colors. There’s about 8 light combos available. My pool is 20x40 so I‘m going to order another set.

Very bright & colorful lights.

This review will be updated after I install these, however based on my initial examination, they appear to be a quality set of lights. The construction seems solid, and they came with a variety of ways to mount the lights.I likely won't be using the app for this, as I have misgivings about putting such things on my personal devices and WiFi - especially from unknown manufacturers such as this. However, there is a single button on each of the larger lights that control them, so no issues there. After they're mounted, I'll check to see how long they function on a full charge, how well the solar panels recharge them, etc.

Very cool product!

A) SUPER easy to set up. The sticky pads actually adhered securely to the concrete pool deck. I was shocked. The lights come free from the suction cups under the water, but that's not a bad thing if you have a pool cleaner that climbs walls. They can be reattached very easily. There's also a more permanent way to adhere them, but I like the ability to move them around.B) Well made - they withstood two pool parties with kids running amuck in the week since I put them up.C) I like the look very much! It's not super bright when you're using colors (though using them on the white light setting is surprising bright for two small lights) - only two lights in the pack and I have them at one end of a 20x40 pool, but they are pretty and have lovely ambiance. Totally worth the price!D) The app is a bit too much. Too many options when it's hard to tell much difference between the modes with only two lights. Not sure how the music function is supposed to work. I couldn't see any difference there either. Maybe you need more to for a light show atmosphere. But I don't really care beyond being able to chose the color families and how quickly they change color.E) They mean it when they say they come on at night. You have to cover the solar panels completely to get the lights to stay on when the sun isn't completely set. But they come mostly charged and ran through the first night after I set them up about an hour before sunset. I thought they were broken because they wouldn't stay on, but got distracted by something else so I was pleasantly surprised when they came on at full dark.F) You have to read the directions closely to pair them with your phone. These are almost too complex. Again, might be a more dramatic effect if you have more than two and all the futzing to get them paired with the app would be fine. All in all though, there is nothing about these that I find so egregious I would drop to four stars. The benefits far outweigh any quibbles I might have.

A Budget-Friendly Glow-Up for Night Swims

Our main pool light keeps burning out and the fix isn't cheap'it is one of those full canister and wire harness replacements that runs several hundred dollars, not including labor. But I love night swimming (aka not being scorched by Arizona UV rays), so I picked up this 2-pack of solar lights as a temporary workaround. For what they are, they did a great job. Are they going to replace a built-in beam-style pool light? No. But they absolutely light up the water enough for a relaxing night swim or some low-key backyard ambiance.Setup was easy, and the color options are actually kind of fun. You can cycle through a bunch of different scenes from your phone, and they charge via solar so there's no wiring required. One quirk: the magnet that holds the underwater light to the wall is weak. If anyone brushes by or splashes near it, it'll float loose. Not a dealbreaker'just reach in and stick it back where it belongs'but something to know if you have a very active pool crowd. If you're looking for an affordable stopgap while waiting on a pricey repair, or just want to add some color and visibility at night without rewiring your pool, these definitely earn their keep.

This dual light set actually has four lights!

I recently tried out these solar pool lights, and I have some mixed feelings about them. First off, the solar panel does a fantastic job of providing a nice, bright light, which really enhances the overall ambiance of the pool area. However, when it comes to the underwater lighting, it doesn't illuminate a large area,it mainly adds color to the pool rather than providing any significant brightness.I haven't had the opportunity to test the app yet, but I truly appreciate the convenience of not needing to manage another remote control. If you are not tech savvy, the lights can be controlled manually from the solar panel. One standout aspect is the magnetic underwater attachment. It's strong enough to hold firmly against the wall of my above-ground pool, which is a definite plus. However, I've noticed that when the kids start roughhousing in the pool, the lights do tend to become detached. This isn‘t just a problem with these lights; I’ve experienced this with other magnetic pool lights as well. What‘s different here is that my previous lights had the magnetic mount glued to the interior of the pool, whereas these do not require glue. Unfortunately, this means when the lights detach from the magnet, the holder falls to the ground, which can be an inconvenience.Overall, while I enjoy the aesthetic and the solar functionality, I wish the underwater lights provided more illumination and that the attachment system could be improved to withstand more vigorous play.

An Interesting Idea That Doesn't Work In Real-World Conditions

I got these lights for my in-ground pool. Setting them up to work with the AiDot mobile app was a breeze and as long as you are close to your lights, the bluetooth connection works great. But that's about all the nice things I can say about this light, at least for my specific use case -- in-ground pool filled with water. The main light and solar panel are designed to be secured to the edge of the pool. The mounting hardware requires drilling into the concrete deck and screwing in a mounting plate. That's more than I'm comfortable with. I prefer strong double-sided tape. But that's not the big problem with this light. The solar panel and light on the edge of the pool has another light that's supposed to be submerged in the pool. Problem one: The light floats. Problem two: The only way to secure the light to the pool wall is to jump into the pool, dive to the level where you want the light and then attach it to the pool wall. Again, the manufacturer suggests drilling holes and screwing the mounting hardware. Can't hold my breath that long. The alternative is glue (a small bottle of which is provide). This may be theoretically possible but I'm not sure I can apply enough force for enough time underwater in order to get the glue to set. So, in my case, the surface light and solar panel are useable but not the in-pool light. In my case I'm using the tethered in-pool light to illuminate nearby bushes. In defense of the product, it does suggest it would be useful on a fountain or a shallow pond structure or even a fence. Any of those would work better than an in-ground pool filled with water.

Decent lights, but EXPENSIVE (see details)

The Enhulk Pool Lights with APP Control (White 2-Pack) are EXPENSIVE! $40 apiece! Are they worth it? It's hard to say. Pool lights tend to be cheaper than this, but the ones I've gotten in the past don't seem to last more than a couple years. If these last longer than that, they could be worth it - and reduce e-waste. Will they last? I'll update the review when one of the lights fails to work.As for the lights themselves, they are fine. Nothing special, really. The lighting schedule functionality is nice, as is the fact that the app doesn't look like flat-out malware. Aside from that, the colors, brightness, and battery life are fine, but nothing special.

Okay

I mean, they do what they are supposed to - they provide light to the pool. The solar panels seem to work well and they do look pretty when it's very dark outside. I wouldn't say they "light up" the pool - more like give it a chill ambience and make it relaxing, which I am totally down for! Aesthetically, I don't super love the look of them hanging off the edge of the pool or the dangle wires in the pool. Overall, they are nice for what they are. I would probably just prefer something that isn't so obvious in your face as far as the setup/hardware goes.

Good for time being (expect update)

So far so good, they are a nice setup and easy to install. The smart automation system is nice. Only time will tell if they last or fail like the last set. I will update this after a couple of months.

Good for pool, or other outdoor use too

Got these lights at the end of the pool season, so no in-pool perspective of use yet. They provide several options for securing the lights if used in the pool. We've set them up around our patio table which we still use in the fall, and they work well in that spot using the same accessories to affix to the railings. If we used them in the pool, I think it is just to easy for the the grandkids to mess with them while swimming. The lights emit plenty of light. Connecting to the lights is easy with the app. They just use a bluetooth connection to pair to the App. From there you configure the lights in any number of ways using the colors / scenes and even have them respond to the music you may be playing while BBQ-ing. On most days you will find them on when you get your cup of coffee in the early am - even though it is dark around 7pm now. Time will tell how these hold up, I've had 4 different outdoor bluetooth lights, and 3 have failed connecting via bluetooth within a relatively short time - which immediately makes the light dumb solar lights, if they remain working at all. I just assume it is something to do with being outdoors all the time. Current expectation is that these will be fine, but I'll come back and update if the bluetooth functionality fails changes.

Nice idea but not practical for most.

I have a small in-ground pool. The lights work and the two put off enough light to illuminate the whole pool. But I'm not a fan of the mounting. First, these don't seem like they will last any longer than a year or two. I'm in Texas and the pool has full sun. The sun destroys plastic pieces and I already have to replace parts of my pool every other year because the sun damages them. With that said, these require a semi-permanent install. I wish these came with suction cups to where I could install them if I'm having a party that will extend past dark and then remove them and store them somewhere when not in use. Which also brings up another point; 90% of the time we are swimming in the day time and these would just get in the way and be something to trip over which even more makes temporary install important.Neat idea, poor execution.

Lights/Solar/Battery OK! Need 4 to light a 26' Round Pool! Also needs better Fastening Method!

Even though they are a little dimmer than I thought they would be they are still good for the price! I only bought a set of two and I'm going to buy another set of two because for a 26' to 28' round above ground pool like I have you will need 4 to completely light up the water. The solar charge and battery seem to keep the light lit way into the wing hours of the morning! The only reason I didn't give five stars was because they need to come up with a better fastening system for an above ground pool other than the very puny suction cups that don't stay on for more than an hour!

Nice idea but can't use with robot cleaner

These pool lights are bright and colorful, and the app control is a fun feature with lots of color options and preset scenes. They add a nice ambiance to the pool and are easy to set up. That said, they can‘t really be used if you have a robotic pool cleaner running. The lights have to be placed in a way that keeps them out of the cleaner’s path, otherwise they get knocked around or moved. They also do not have last through the night.
